INTEREST OF ROLLING GRAINS wheat- barley -
corn - fava – feed peas - lupins...
For ruminant
feed in general, it is important to retain
the largest percentage of fiber possible in
the feed, given the beneficial influence on
salivation, rumination and on keeping the
degree of acidity above the “danger
level.”
It has long been a proven and known fact (breeders
who used a roller for some time after having
decided to abandon the use of wheat grain
will confirm this) that distributing grain
in rolled form significantly increases milk
output!
Similar phenomena have been observed in fattening,
expressed by improved growth!
Furthermore, veterinarian expenses will have
a tendency to drop, for the herd’s heath
will improve! |
